Taxon-omics (DFG SPP 1991)
New approaches to discovering and naming biodiversity: Taxon-omics, a German network of 27 research projects that are focused on combining taxonomy using natural history museum specimens with new approaches for discovering and naming biodiversity. Taxon-omics funded under DFG priority program SPP 1991.
„Prinzessin Therese von Bayern-Stiftung zur Förderung von Frauen in der Wissenschaft“
Auf Anregung der „Prinzessin Therese von Bayern-Stiftung zur Förderung von Frauen in der Wissenschaft“ an der LMU (https://www.frauenbeauftragte.uni-muenchen.de/foerdermoegl/lmu/therese/index.html) übernahm der Lehrstuhl für Systematik, Biodiversität und Evolution der Pflanzen im Sommersemester 2021 mit Zustimmung der Hochschulleitung der LMU und der Fakultät für Biologie den Namen von Prinzessin Therese von Bayern in seine Denomination. Damit ist der Lehrstuhl die erste Professur an der LMU, die nach einer Frau benannt ist. Mehr
