Research interests

In the course of my doctoral research, I investigate the spatiotemporal evolution of wet-arid transitions and with it associated ecological and physiological adaptations. My research focuses on the Amaranthaceae sensu stricto. To answer these questions, I employ different (phylo)genomic and transcriptomic approaches.
